Many of our specialty procedures are available due to the wonderful efforts of Dr. Seth Wallack of the Veterinary Imaging Center of San Diego and Dr. Robert Botte. They help us out with radiology consults, specialty ultrasounds and knee surgeries.

Kearny Mesa Veterinary Center, KMVC, veterinary, vet, clinic, pet, dog, cat, San Diego, groom, grooming, kitten, puppy, AAHADr. Seth Wallack attended UC Davis where he received his degree in veterinary medicine. He completed his internship in general medicine and surgery at Veterinary Specialty Hospital and the completed his radiology residency at Davis in 2002. He remained on staff there for 4 years. He is a board certified radiologist with special interests in feline hyperthyroidism, small animal contrast ultrasound, MRI and exotic animal radiography.

Both him and his staff members review our radiographs and offer their expertise in diagnosing hard to determine problems.

Kearny Mesa Veterinary Center, KMVC, veterinary, vet, clinic, pet, dog, cat, San Diego, groom, grooming, kitten, puppy, AAHADr. Robert Botte attended UC Davis and received his doctor of veterinary medicine degree in 1979. He then completed a one year internship at the University of Pennsylvania, then four years of surgical residency at both Pennsylvania and Davis. In 1985 he returned to San Diego and entered private surgical practice. In 1986 he became a Diplomat of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.

Dr. Botte has broad clinical experience in small animal orthopedic general soft tissue surgery and has published veterinary surgery articles. His main areas of interest are fractures and gastrointestinal tract and thoracic surgery.
