| The 1998 merger of two, long established neighboring practices, created Kearny Mesa Veterinary Center. Doctors Craig Marvil and Brad Broady chose to consolidate their practices in the building that Dr. Broady designed and built in 1982. By utilizing design elements from several "practice of the year" buildings, the structure remains modern and spacious after almost 25 years of use.

Although the doctors of KMVC aren't board certified specialists in geriatric medicine, they have a remarkable number of senior patients who have been coming to KMVC for care their whole lives. Now in their mid to late "teens", they are testaments to a winning combination of excellent, progressive medical care and devoted owners. Health problems which once may have drastically shortened a patient's life, have been diagnosed early, and cured or controlled, allowing many pets with chronic problems such as diabetes or renal disease to enjoy longer, happier, more comfortable lives.

Through extensive training and the latest in monitoring instruments and diagnostic equipment, they can provide the safest anesthetic procedures available. Surgery today has the least discomfort possible due to advances in pain management. Sophisticated "in house" laboratory and diagnostic equipment allows the doctors to help people quickly make informed decisions regarding their pet's health care.
